India retain team for second Test

The Indian selectors on Monday decided to retain the 15 players named for the ongoing first Test in Chennai, for the second Test against Sri Lanka.

Chief selector Kiran More and newly-elected Board of Control for Cricket in India secretary Niranjan Shah said there would not be any change in the squad and the same team will be retained for the Delhi Test which gets underway on Saturday.

The team for the third Test, in Ahmedabad from December 18-22, will be announced on the fourth day of the Delhi match.

Squad: Rahul Dravid (captain), Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, Yuvraj Singh, Sourav Ganguly, Mohammad Kaif, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (wicketkeeper), Anil Kumble, Irfan Pathan, Harbhajan Singh, Ajit Agarkar, Rudra Pratap Singh, Murali Kartik, Gautam Gambhir.
