The Board of Control for Cricket in India has switched two one-dayers during England's tour early next year to prominent venues at the request of the England Cricket Board, an Indian cricket official said on Saturday.

The ECB had expressed concerns over logistics for their team and their "Barmy Army" fans during the February-March tour after the BCCI in October named smaller venues for all the seven one-dayers.

The BCCI switched games to New Delhi and Mohali from the eastern cities of Cuttack and Visakhapatnam.

Indore, Goa, Guwahati and Kochi will be retained while the other game, originally scheduled for Faridabad, may be moved within the northern Haryana state, BCCI vice-president Shashank Manohar said after a tours and fixtures committee meeting.

England are also scheduled to play three Tests in Nagpur, Mumbai and Ahmedabad but the Ahmedabad Test will be moved to Mohali if the venue stages the third and final Test against Sri Lanka starting on December 18.

England warm-up games have also been moved to Mumbai and Baroda from Jamshedpur and the remote northeastern city of Agartala, Manohar said.

The Indian Board's decision-making working committee meets on Sunday to ratify the decisions. It is also expected to finalise the itinerary for the Pakistan Test tour starting next month.
