India captain Sourav Ganguly is indisposed and did not take part in the nets at the Harare Sports Club on Wednesday.

Ganguly did come with the team to the ground but preferred to sit out on the bench.

The skipper, it is learnt, has caught a cold and is running fever, which makes him the second Indian cricketer to fall sick on the current tour.

He is receiving medical treatment and is on antibiotics.

Virender Sehwag did not play in the last game against Zimbabwe as he was down with fever.

Sehwag was also not seen at a function at the Indian High Commissioner's residence on Tuesday though Ganguly was very much present.

According to coach Greg Chappell, the players have not been able to adjust to the rather cool conditions in Zimbabwe.

India face an important match against New Zealand in the tri-series on Friday.
