Best of the Rest

Former New Zealand great and ICC World XI selector Richard Hadlee (right) and John Wright announced the final World squads for the Johnnie Walker Super Series against Australia, in Melbourne on Tuesday.

South Africa captain Graeme Smith was chosen to lead the Test side while former skipper Shaun Pollock will lead the ODI team.

As he has the best record against Australia as a coach, former India coach John Wright was appointed coach of both the World XI sides.
