Australia leg spinner Shane Warne became the first man to take 600 wickets in Tests when he dismissed England opener Marcus Trescothick on the opening day of the third Test at Old Trafford, Manchester, on Thursday.
Playing his 12th Test, Warne dismissed Trescothick for 63, caught behind by Adam Gilchrist off an attempted sweep, to reach the milestone.
