Highest seventh-wicket partnership against India

The unbeaten match-winning partnership of 126 runs between Mahela Jayawardene [ Images ] and Upul Chandana at Dambulla on Wednesday is the highest ever partnership for the seventh wicket against India [ Images ].

The pair obliterated the previous record stand of 114 between South Africa's [ Images ] Mark Boucher [ Images ] and Lance Klusener at Nagpur in 1999-00.
