Pakistan Cricket Board on Wednesday said it was contemplating demanding the Board of Control for Cricket in India to pay USD 50,000 more for playing an additional one-day international on their recent visit.

The PCB said that when they acquiesced to BCCI's request they did so on the hope that one more ODI could be fixed on reciprocal basis when India toured Pakistan next time.
But with a tight international schedule, that seems unlikely. Hence the demand for lump sum.
"Initially we had thought that we would also ask them to play an additional one-day match when they tour Pakistan early next year but due to packed international schedule this does not seem likely," a PCB official said.
"As such now we are thinking about claiming an amount of $50,000 from the Indian board as appearance fees for the additional match as per the regulations of the International Cricket Council's (ICC) Future Tours Programme (FTP)," he added.
Under the FTP regulations if a touring team is asked to play a one-day match outside the six-year FTP then it can claim an appearance fee of $50,000 from the host board.
Pakistan are to host India immediately after the home series against England and India's tour will be followed up by the Asia Cup one-day tournament.
"Obviously if India agreed to play an additional one-dayer on their tour to Pakistan it would benefit us immensely because there is a big global audience for ODIs between the two countries and TV broadcasters are also willing to pay handsome guarantee fees for the right to telecast the match.
"But after initial discussions with the BCCI it appears they will only play three Tests and five one-dayers in Pakistan," the PCB official stated.
