After the one-day series loss to Pakistan, India's ranking slumped to a new low.
India lost one point in the latest ICC one-day ratings following the 2-4 series defeat to Pakistan and the new rating of 97 is the lowest for the side since the official table was introduced in October 2002.

India, however, retained eighth place ahead of Zimbabwe, Kenya and Bangladesh, an International Cricket Council statement said on Monday.
Australia continue to lead the table followed by Sri Lanka and New Zealand.
Pakistan reached their highest rating since December 2003, improving by one point, to 110.
In the players' rankings, Sachin Tendulkar dropped out of a tightly packed top ten to an unfamiliar 13th place.
For most of the Indian bowlers it was a series they would want to forget soon, with Harbhajan Singh, the highest ranked of all, in 16th place.
The solace for the beleaguered team was that stand-in captain Rahul Dravid climbed seven places to sixth, and opener Virender Sehwag gained five places to 25th.
For Pakistan, Naved-ul Hasan who took 15 wickets jumped 30 places to 12th, making him the highest ranked bowler on either side.
Other Pakistani players who improved their positions in the official standings included batsmen Inzamam-ul Haq (up one place to 11th), Shoaib Malik (up to 23rd) and Shahid Afridi (up 12 places to 31st).
