Tendulkar's lean patches

Sachin's century in the fourth One-Day International at Ahmedabad came after a gap of more than one year and after playing 15 innings since he last reached the three-figure mark (also v Pakistan at Rawalpindi in March 2004).

This is the third longest period for Tendulkar without a century in terms of innings. Sachin's maiden 100 had come in his 76th innings.

Since then he has been unable to score a century despite playing more than a dozen innings only on four occasions. Interestingly on all the previous occasions India went on to win the match.
