More than the unbearable heat it would be the lack of adequate fan support from home that is likely to dampen the spirit of Pakistan cricket team, which is eyeing a victory in the fourth ODI against India to level the six-match seriesĀ in Ahmedabad on Tuesday.

Hosts Gujarat Cricket Association had kept aside 400 tickets for Pakistani fans coming from across the border but only a handful have bought the tickets so far prompting the GCA to think about selling the remaining tickets.

Only five Pakistanis have registered for the much-awaited tie in Ahmedabad so far, GCA sources said.

"Still, we would keep a few tickets aside in case anyone decide to register today," they said.

Hoping for a packed house at the Sardar Patel Stadium at Motera, GCA said more than 35,000 tickets were sold on the first day.

The city got the chance to host the fourth one-dayer after much diplomatic efforts as the Pakistan Cricket Board had initially shown apprehension over Ahmedabad as a venue citing security reasons.

More than 3,000 security personnel would be deployed in and around the stadium while the Gujarat police would also giving elaborate security cover to both the teams.

Moreover, the GCA has also erected a glass enclosure around the teams' dressing rooms so that they could watch the match without being besieged by fans and autograph seekers.

The Pakistan team has also been insured to the tune of Rs two crore by the GCA.
