Message: Sourav Ganguly should be promoted as opener with Sehwag instead of Tendulkar. It will help him to get his form.

Subject: ODI Rankings
Message: Pakistan is certainly a better side in one-day cricket than India. Even India's ranking is lowly placed than Pakistan. I am sure the visitors will come back in a big way in this ODI series as they are by far the more accomplished and professional team.

Subject: Why this hype?
Message: Would like to start off by taking my hat off to Dhoni, Yuvraj and other players of the Indian team. Dhoni's 148 is an indication that our our search for a proper wicket-keeper batsman may be over.
But hey everyone!! Hold your horses!! Dhoni still is a rookie in international cricket. Agreed, he showed a great temperament and his execution of shots in the 2nd ODI was brilliant, but then let him settle down, give him some time to bask in his success, once he calms down again, he might just as well display another brilliant knock.
We, the over reactive Indian public, tend to compare youngsters like Dhoni to established cricketers.
Look what happened to Yuvraj Singh after his first match winning 84 against Australia. He was compared to Sachin Tendulkar directly. What happened after that? He failed in few matches and was really inconsistent after that till he secured a place again in the Indian ODI side after few seasons.
Same thing happened with Sehwag when he initially entered the team, but was thrown out and again regained it by virtue of his own talent.
This Indian tendency to compare youngsters with established stars tends to burden the players and it must stop. Leave them alone; they will create their own image. Tendulkar, Ganguly and Dravid, the three best batsmen in India, have all created their own image. That is how they have given their best to the team.
Let's leave Dhoni alone and just hope he to play such match-winning knocks again and again. Let us not make him an Adam Gilchrist so soon and then boo him if he doesn't live to our expectations.

Subject: Why India is fairing badly in Cricket.
Message: Just a few lines to say that the recent poor batting by the so called 'greats' of the Indian Cricket Team leaves much to be desired.
Why doesn't the Selection committee give a chance to so many youngsters who are even better that these so called 'greats'?
They may not produce immediate results, but I'm sure that after exposure to a couple of International Games, we can have the best Indian Cricket Team and "World Champions.
When some player does not perform for say three to four matches, then he should be replaced and made to earn his re-entry to the team. If we do this then
Winning matches will not be at the mercy of players, rather the opposite. Nowadays instead of concentrating on the game our players are busy making money, in spite of the huge fees paid to them by the Board.
They should be allowed just one or two days in a month to concentrate on their extra earnings. This I'm sure will surely help in giving a chance to the younger generation as well as getting all likely players to continuously be on their toes.

Subject: Prediction
Message: There is a lot of hype about Dhoni scoring 148 runs. It was a great innings, no doubt, but India has produced such one match wonders in the past and it's too early to say anything about his permanent place in the team. He needs to churn out consistent performances before we make any tall claims about him.
I saw an article in which Dhoni has already been compared to Gilchrist. This is ridiculous to say the least, Gilchrist plays such innings 3 times on every 4 occasions he goes out to bat. One big innings can't make Dhoni a Gilchrist!!!

Subject: Team India-Old Horses
Message: I am of the opinion that this is the right time to take right decisions by the BCCI against the old horses none other than Sourav Ganguly and Sachin Tendulkar as these two players are not doing their jobs at present.
The Indian cricket team is anyways depending on the juniors in all areas.

Subject: Well done M.S. Dhoni!!!
Message: We all have seen Dhoni's fearless, positive attitude with brilliant accuracy which even top class batsmen might not have.
I read that Adam Gilchrist (Australian Wicket-Keeper Batsman ) is Dhoni's chief ideal. If that is the case then it's exactly what India has been looking for.
There are very few batsmen who make opportunities count by putting their best foot forward. Dhoni did exactly that when he got a chance to prove his mettle at the top of the order.
There are still 4 matches to go in this series. Dhoni's performance will be watched closely not only by the selectors but also by millions of fan to confirm his place in Indian team as wicket-keeper batsman. Dhoni will need to prove his consistency.

Subject: The Indian Captain
Message: It's damn tough and the entire world knows it. Next to the Prime Minister the Indian Cricket Captain is the most pressurized human being in India. I feel for Sourav Ganguly.
To me, he epitomizes an aggressive individual who is a leader.
Agreed, he is going through a bad patch but how can we forget the results the Indian team has had under him? Which Indian Captain has won the maximum test matches abroad? The answer- Sourav Ganguly.
He is a class act and simply one of the best the world has seen. Let us leave him alone. At the time of writing this piece we have gone two up in the one-day series and surely Ganguly deserves the credit for some shrewd changes.
All I can say is 'Keep going Sourav' there are lot of Indians who like you and look forward to you leading our team.
Keep up the good work and all the very best.
