Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar was on Saturday declared fit to play in the third Test against Australia at Nagpur from October 26.
He will be on a plane to Nagpur on Sunday, Indian cricket team physio Andrew Leipus told reporters in Mumbai.
The master batsman, who underwent a fitness test at the MIG club in suburban Bandra, batted for 30 minutes in two sessions.
"I am very happy to be able to play in the Nagpur Test," Tendulkar said adding he is feeling pretty confident and comfortable.
Tendulkar has been out of cricketing action since mid-August due to tennis elbow.
