Ganguly's dubious distinction

By losing the toss in the second Test against South Africa [ Images ] at Kolkata [ Images ] on Sunday, Sourav Ganguly [ Images ] became the Indian captain with most toss losses against his name.

It was the 26th occasion that Ganguly lost a toss in 42 Tests he has captained India [ Images ]. He was previously level with Sunil Gavaskar [ Images ] with 25 toss losses.
