Incidentally the lowest total recorded by a side while losing five wickets is 12, made on two occasions - by Pakistan vs West Indies at Brisbane on 9-1-1993 and by Canada v Sri Lanka at Paarl on 19-2-2003
- Grant Flower was dismissed for a first ball duck. It was sixth first ball duck of his career. He now heads the table of Zimbabwean batsmen who have been dismissed on most occasions for duck by the first legitimate ball they faced in an ODI innings. Grant Flower was earlier at level with brother Andy with five such instances.
- Zimbabwe's total of 126 was their second lowest against Australia. Their lowest against Australia still remains 116 at Harare on 23-10-1999.
