In his first public comments on the security issue during the upcoming Pakistan tour, Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly on Sunday said the team was worried about its safety and the matter would be discussed with the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
"We are not worried about the Pakistan tour, but we are worried about the security in Pakistan," said Ganguly.
"We are concerned because we have families at home and it is not going to be easy. We have to go back and talk to our board and then get a clearer picture," he said.
Ganguly, however, denied that the players had already made up their minds on the visit to Pakistan.
"I have heard some reports that players are not going to tour Pakistan which is untrue. Our only worry is security."
"Anything further, it would not be fair on my part to comment at this stage," he said.
India are scheduled to tour Pakistan for a three-Test and five one-day international series in March-April.
