India's win by an innings and 140 runs in the first Test against Bangladesh at Dhaka on Monday is their biggest ever win on foreign soil (by innings margin).

It is India's second biggest in all Tests -- home or abroad.

Tendulkar's unique distinction

Bangladesh were bowled out for 184 and 202 in their two innings of the first Test at Dhaka. The intriguing fact associated with Bangladesh's performance is that Tendulkar alone outscored them in either innings. This was the only third such instance for India.
