A stylish unbeaten 141 by skipper Jaydev Shah and his 118 runs unfinished partnership with Rakesh Dhruv helped Saurashtra to make 363 for five at stumps on the third day of their four-day Ranji Trophy (Plate) Group 'B' league match against Jammu and Kashmir in Rajkot on Monday.
Saurashtra, resuming at their overnight score of 43 for two, were helped by cautious approach by their two not out batsmen S Kotak and P Bhatt, who added 108 run for the third wicket before the former was bowled by rival skipper Mahajan for 64 including eight fours.
Saurashtra are still 142 runs behind Jammu and Kashmir's first innings score of 505 for nine declared.

Kerala snatch slender lead over Jharkhand
Kerala were 18 for no loss in their second innings after gaining a valuable six-run first
innings lead against Jharkhand on the penultimate day of the four-day plate A Ranji trophy tie in Jamshedpur.
Jharkhand's first innings ended 75 minutes into the post-tea session at the score of 315 in reply to Kerala's 321.
Resuming at 159 for four, the hosts rode on a brilliant 94-run knock by opener Manish Vardhan, who was also involved in two valuable partnerships with Sumit Panda (35) and S Nadeem (25) before he was bowled off medium pacer Sreesnath.
At close, Kerala's openers M Nathani was batting on 13 while Sebastian Antony was on 2.

Rajasthan win by an innings and 114 runs
Fine bowling by spinners Mohammad Aslam (4 for 27) and Rahul Kanwat (3 for 23) helped Rajasthan beat Tripura by an innings and 114 runs in their Plate Group league tie with more than a day to spare.
Tripura, who made a meager 108 in their first innings, trailed by 230 runs as Rajasthan reached 338 in their first essay.
The visitors could not stand up to the challenge and surrendered meekly. They were all out for 116.
Rajasthan gained five points including a bonus point from this match while Tripura went empty handed.
