Despite having a slender lead with five wickets down in the second innings, South Africa bowler Makhaya Ntini sounded positive about his team's chances of winning the second Test against India at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, saying even a target of 110 would prove challenging for the hosts.

"A lead of 110 will be challenging for India. We are absolutely positive about our chances," the medium pacer, who picked four wickets in the first innings, said after the fourth day's play.

Ntini also dismissed the Virender Sehwag factor, saying, "We don't have any problem with him. He may have some problem with us.

"I am prepared to take control on the last day. We will fight even with a low total."

He, however, expected the remaining batsmen to put up a better display on Thursday in order to give a fighting total for the bowlers to defend.

Ntini, who had gained from his experience of playing in the subcontinent as a member of the under-19 squad in 1994, said there is nothing to worry about the batters' performance today.

"Tomorrow is a new day. We have to start with a fresh mind."

Asked what strategy the South African bowlers would adopt to contain Sehwag, who has been tormenting the visitors in this series, Ntini said they might use short balls keeping in mind his  vulnerability to such deliveries.
