Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar said the Indian team would like to clear hurdles one at a time as they embark on an important European tour, which climaxes in the ICC Champions Trophy in England.
"Champions Trophy is pretty far off. Even before that we would like to take one step at a time and concentrate hard on one match after another," Tendulkar told reporters after launching a series of new products for 'Adidas' in Mumbai on Thursday along with team mates Virender Sehwag, Zaheer Khan and Ashish Nehra.
The Champions Trophy is slated to begin on September 10 in England but India will play a tri-series in Holland and the three-match NatWest Challenge series in England prior to that.
Admitting that it was disappointing to lose in the final of the Asia Cup in Sri Lanka, Tendulkar said, "We should concentrate harder and try to overcome this [losing in the final] and I am sure we will be able to do better in future."
His One-Day International opening partner Sehwag said he got his first pair of 'Adidas' shoes from Karnataka Speedster Dodda Ganesh while Zaheer said he received his from none other than Tendulkar when they started off as youngsters.
