Day 4: Scorecard | Report | Complete coverage

Daniel Vettori, who made his debut against England in February 1997, is the youngest player to represent New Zealand in Tests.

Vettori, who has scored six half-centuries, passed the 1000 run mark in Test cricket against India in his innings of 60.

Off-spinner Paul Wiseman also displayed some gritty batting as he put on 67 runs with Vettori.

Wiseman scored 27, just two short of his Test best of 29 against Sri Lanka.
