Conquering the unconquerables

When the current Australian team steps on to the playing field there is little doubt that they will win, no matter what. If their batsmen fail, their bowlers do the job. Their domination of international cricket has been such that most teams would consider bagging their scalp as the ultimate prize in the sport. Thus, their record winning streak of 21 consecutive ODIs does not surprise many; neither does the sound thrashing of India, arguably their closest rivals, in the final of the 2003 World Cup.
