Railways thrashed Uttar Pradesh by 152 runs in the 'Elite' Ranji Trophy Group 'A' match at the Dr. Sampurnanand Sport stadium in Varanasi on Wednesday.
The four-day match ended on the third day before the tea break.
Resuming at their overnight score of 145 for 6, Railways were all out for 208 in their second innings, setting Uttar Pradesh a victory target of 275 runs.
Uttar Pradesh could never really find their bearings and were bundled out for 122 runs in 49.5 overs in their second innings.
Uttar Pradesh captain Jyoti Yadav was the top scorer with 37 runs, while for the winning team, Kulamani Parida was the most successful bowler claiming five wickets for 47 runs.
