Rishikesh Parab's maiden century (104) helped hosts Baroda score 196 for four on the second day of their Elite Group `A' Ranji Trophy cricket match against Kerala at the IPCL grounds in Vadodara on Tuesday.
Replying to Kerala's first innings score of 231, the hosts began their innings on a positive note but were reduced to 63 for two when both the openers - Satyajit Parab and Rakesh Solanki - were sent back to the pavilion.
But Rishikesh, along with his captain Jacob Martin, steadied the innings with a 112-run third wicket partnership.
Nayan Mongia (5) and Shatrunjay Gaekwad (10) were at the crease at draw of stumps.
Earlier, resuming at their overnight score of 207 for 7, Kerala lost their remaining three wickets after adding just 24 runs.
Rakesh Patel and Tushar Arothe captured four wickets each for Baroda.
