In the backdrop of the Mike Denness controversy and a jaded, jet-lagged Indian outfit low on confidence after the South African tour, the first Test was going to be England's best chance of winning a Test in India.But, Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh tweaked the Englishmen out of contention at Mohali, claiming 14 scalps.
