School curriculum put on CD-ROM

Email this story to a friend. Students can now bid goodbye to their backbreaking satchels and carry 'virtual' textbooks containing the entire curriculum, thanks to 'Aarambh', the CD-ROM with the entire school syllabus on it.

The entire syllabus has been presented using audiovisuals and animation that complement the textbooks they claimed. The Dhyan Vigyan Computer Services of Pune have developed the software.

The major advantage of the package is that it could prove to be a saviour for working parents struggling to squeeze out some time for their children's studies from their hectic schedule.

With this new audio visual package, which would be available soon to school children in Bombay and Thane, the new generation of computer literate students would be a smarter and keener to learn.
