Net & Gross profit

    Net profit
Often referred to as the bottom line, net profit is calculated by subtracting a company's total expenses from total revenue.
It is the profit that is left after all the expenses and deductions have been made.

    Gross profit
Gross Profit = Revenue - Cost of goods sold.
Basically, the sales minus all costs directly related to those sales.
