Premium / Discount

If a stock is sold at Rs 80 during an IPO but lists at Rs 90, it is said to list at a premium.
If it lists at Rs 75, it is said to list at a discount.

Premium refers to a higher rate and implies a profit. Discount refers to a lower rate and implies a loss.
